The first story is about the duality of Tabassum Naz. It can be called a supernatural or surreal story, not a mystery or ghost story. Undoubtedly a nice plot, the author has captured the tension till the end, the ending has also been amazing. It is basically written based on split personality disorder. After reading the first two pages, the name of the story has become very clear to the reader. There could have been a little more mystery with any other name. Also, my idea as a reader is that it would have been different if there had been some scientific explanation at the end.

The second story is the introspection of Fauzia Khan Tamanna. Here too the name of the story has played a special role. This story is written in the structure of a dramatic monologue in the first person. The ESP (Extra Sensory Power) can be conceived only after the narrator is blind on the second page. Land, corruption, interests, quarrels, conspiracies, love, biology are all full of stories that the author has very successfully dragged to the end.
The third story is Sharmin Sultana Chowdhury’s paranormal activity. Not ghost or mystery, I would call it a crime thriller. An excellent plot, as well as a well-written author. All events have been dragged to the end. And the ending was certainly dazzling. However, I would say that injustice has been done to this plot. It could have been written on a much larger scale or as a slightly smaller novel, giving the author a chance to add more context. But in spite of wanting to finish in a medium-sized story, he could not go into details. The reader has been deprived!

The fourth story is written by Salma Siddique. It’s a full-fledged mystery. It ended like a short story, moving forward in a tense atmosphere. The most special feature of this story is that it has brought the story closer to reality by describing different places and events. The reader can easily relate himself to the names of places, names of cities, matriculation examinations, university admissions. At the very end, the scene of the crowd of people waiting to cross the road on Mirpur Road came to the fore. I believe this is a great success of this story.

The fifth story is written by Ruzhana Sifat. The mystery progresses to the end with the description of the tension and the wonderful scenario. It ended like a full crime thriller or mystery story. However, there was a lot of drama throughout the story. The middle-class Anita suddenly takes a dramatic step in the character, which seems a bit unusual. In fact, the plot to kill a corpse and keep it hidden somewhere in the room or on the wall is very easily available in detective serials. At the same time, the basic activities to get justice like that corpse. In many cases, some scientific explanations are also given.
The sixth story is on the other side of Mouli Akhand. I think this is also a successful supernatural story. Absolutely a taste of the real ghost story was finally found. The description and scenario were beautiful. However, this story could have been written on a slightly larger scale. Due to the limited size it was not possible to focus too much on the individual characters. On the other hand the same description for all the ghost characters seemed a bit daisy.

The seventh story is thanks to Sushmita Zafar. Undoubtedly another successful mystery. The details of the hospital context make the story more realistic. An unknown story of daily life of doctors has also come up in this story. All in all, it has led to a surprising ending that could not have been imagined before. The author has done some work on the language of the story written in the first person, such as, “Hey Mister, come to the line” was new.

The eighth and final story is called Miracle, by Salsabila Noki. It is also a full-fledged adventure story, associated with a supernatural event. But the author has tried to give a social message. The issue of social class discrimination, poverty, abuse of power, injustice, and the silent protest of Raisya Chora’s wife against injustice has come up in this supernatural event.
All in all, Rahasyalina is a collection of eight tense stories written in Thasbunote. Even if it is not in one meeting, you can finish it in a little while.
